Presentation

Good morning everyone.Thank you all for taking the time to come here today. My name is Kazumi Sato. The topic of my presentation today is"How to enjoy yourself at Horse Race Course."As for today's presentation, I would like to talk about three different points of Horse Racing.
First, I will give you some information about the Horse Race Course. Following that, I would like to inform you of the colour of thoroughbreds. And finally I'm going to tell about the type of gallopping. Please sit back, listen and enjoy yourselves and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have at the end of my presentation.
From now I will talk about my first point,"the Horse Race Course."There are two kinds of fields in the Horse Race Course. One is the dirt course and another is the grass coure. The surface of the dirt course is covered with very fine sand and dirt. On the other hand, the surface of the grass is always covered with the mixture of Japanese grass with European grass. This is why the grass is ever green. I'm going to explain that all Horse Race Courses in Japan have four corners. Seven courses of JRA lead to right turn and three courses lead to left turn. Some of horses are strong in gallopping through the right turn and some are very good at gallopping through the left turn. Generally speaking, the dirt course needs the toughness of horse's ability, but the grass course asks for the speed of the horse's ability.
Next to my second point, I'll give you some information about the colour of thoroughbreds. Almost thoroughbreds belong to the four colours. Four colours are black, brown, white, the mixture of black with brown. In Japanese black is Kurokage, brown is Kurige, white is Ashige, the mixture of black with brown is Kage. In general white is inferior blood. For that reason, white is very few in comparison to other colour horses. Generally, white horses often win the race in summer for white hairs to reflect the sunlight. In the opposite, black horses often get the victory of the race in winter for black hairs to absorb the sunlight. Because thoroughbreds are weak in hot and cold weather. I think it is not nesesarily true.
Finally, I will talk about the type of gallopping. The gallopping of thoroughbreds is divided into three types. One type is called Sprinter, two is called Miler, and three is Stayer. Sprinter is strong in the distance from 1,000 meters to maximum 1,600 meters, Miler is very good at the distance from 1,600 meters to maximum 2,000 meters, Stayer is very strong in the distance of minimum 2,000 meters.
I have just finished talking about the three different points to enjoy yourself in the Horse Race Course. In the first point, I told you about the Horse Rase Course. In the second point, I gave you some information about the colour of thoroughbreds. And in my final point, I explained the three types of gallopping. If you want to enjoy yourself in the Horse Race Course, you should pay attention to the three different points. If you want to bet on a race, you should consider wether the betting race is dirt course or grass course, the right turn or the left turn, and the horse is Sprinter, Miler or Stayer.
But I really recommend you watching the horse race. Because the gallopping horse is very beautiful and you can enjoy yourself.
I would like to thank you all for listening to my presentation today and if you have any questions I would be happy to answer them now.
